Guide to Fees for 2009 / 2010 Season

The below is a Guide for Standard Yachts and Motor Vessels only. The fees payable for surveys are based upon many factors including the size, age and type of the vessel in question, please call for a specific personal quotation:

Vessels under 49 Feet LOA

 Full Pre-purchase condition survey & inspection:
@ £13 - £15 / ft LOA                                   Min £250.
(A pre-purchase survey can also be used to obtain insurance cover)
 Hull condition and Osmosis survey
@ £10 - £11/ ft LOA                                   Min £150
 Insurance condition survey & inspection:
@ £10 - £11/ ft LOA                                   Min £150.
(To reinsure or obtain new insurance if you already own the vessel, if you are buying it you require a pre-purchase survey)
 Hull external inspection & osmosis check:
@ £8 - £10/ ft LOA                                     Min £100.
 Sea trials and report
@ £4 - £5 / ft LOA                                     Min £70
 
Vessels over 49 Feet LOA

@ £15 - £17/ ft LOA                                   Min £350.

@ £12 - £15/ ft LOA                                   Min £250

@ £50.00 / hr
Survey related work for vessels over 49 ft LOA
@ £63.00 / hr
Project Management and General work
@ £30.00 / hr
Tonnage measurements are charged in accordance with certifying authority guide lines and paid to them in the form of a registration fee, approximately
@£150 for UK
@£180 for Europe

Damage inspections / Miscellaneous Inspections:

No VAT is payable on the above fees.
Expenses.
If I travel within a 50 mile radius of my post code then it is free, after that the cost will be based on 40p / mile,
Other expenses such as Flight tickets will be by agreement.
Please refer to Terms & Conditions. A fee may be charged if survey is cancelled, moved or date changed at short notice.
